171 Sequential Switch

Description

This module is inspired by the 173 module in the original 100M. There are the same four signal gates, now transformed into a sequential switch. Each gate can be:

• ON, a preview mode
• Controlled by the gate inputs
• Controlled by the sequential clock

The frequency of the internal clock is adjusted by a rotary potentiometer with a TR808 style control knob. The sequence can be set as either 2, 3 or 4 steps with momentary buttons controlling stop/start and step.. .

There is a clock output for daisy chaining multiple 171’s, and an external LFO can be patched into the clock input and override the internal clock. The output of each gate is mixed together and provided as a MIX OUT, in addition to the separate outputs.
